LYNCHBURG, VA - Yesterday Democratic candidate for the 6th District Peter Volosin submitted the final paperwork needed to get his name on the ballot for the primary election to be held on June 12. Included in that paperwork are petitions signed by over 1,500 registered district voters requesting that Peter be put on the ballot.
Candidate Peter Volosin stated, “I am honored to submit my paperwork to officially be on the ballot for the June 12th Democratic Primary. Thank you to all our volunteers, from Roanoke to Front Royal, who helped collect signatures and spread our message of building a fresh economic future for families throughout the 6th District.”
Peter Volosin is running to be the Democratic nominee for Congress in Virginia’s 6th Congressional District. For the first time in 25 years, the 6th District seat is open as Republican Representative Bob Goodlatte is retiring from Congress and will not be seeking re-election.
